There aren't many things I own that belonged to my parents. I mean they buy me gifts, but things that actually belonged to them means so much more.
One thing I own that I really cherish is this water colour paint tin that was my dads. Both my parents were illustrators a long time ago. I have no idea how old it really is, I mean how long would a set like this really last if it was used a lot? I like to this it's fairly old though. The packaging suggests it's from the 80's which makes sense really.
Most of the colours are well used, some even completely. I actually topped up the black myself! It's so pretty and so sentimental and one of my favourite belongings.
What are your favourite possessions? Are they sentimental? When asked what I would save if my house was burning I always think of photographs, but maybe I would save this too :)
