Zak's American Diner Date

So on Tuesday it was mine and my husband's second wedding anniversary. Chris was off work and my brother was visiting so we decided to all go to Norwich for the day. One of the reasons we went there is because there was an American diner we wanted to check out. We love American diners and if there is one around we have to go. There are 3 in the Norwich area an we picked the one that looked the coolest with a pink exterior and booths inside. It was a bit of a walk from the town centre, made a little worse by the icy winds that day, but it was certainly worth the walk!

I dressed rockabilly that day, feeling inspired by going to visit the diner!

I love the cool font on their sign.

The menu fitted in well with the theme. The foods were as expected mainly burgers, steaks and hot dogs etc, but there really was a good variety.

There were some really interesting milkshake choices. I chose maple syrup flavour and it was amazing, but I had a little friend who seemed to like it more!

L-R Poppy, (my daughter) me, Alex (my brother) and Chris (my husband).
Here we all are with our food! I went for a Jack Daniels glazed burger with sweet potato fries. It really lived up to our expectations, but unfortunately I was defeated by it! Poppy had already eaten by this point and she enjoyed the food too :)

Happy good Friday! B. xoxo
