First outfit post!

So one of the things I wanted to include in this blog is outfit posts. Since I've always had a unique style and outfits posts are often my favourite part of other people's blogs I thought I should do some of my own! Plus maybe it will encourage me to be more daring every day rather than just occasionally. It's also a good way to keep anyone who is interested up to date on my current hair colour!

As you can see my hair is purple at present and today I'm wearing it in a bun, which I'm kind of obsessed with at the moment!
I've got my usual makeup style, quite simple for the day time.
As for my actual outfit I'm a little out of my comfort zone today! I'm wearing a shirt I got last week which has a sort of rockabilly/ cowgirl feel to it. I really love the collar tips, which I've been lusting after for a while but I don't really have anything else they would go with!
The belt goes with the cowgirl style, but I don't feel it's too over the top it just adds another element and ties it together really nicely. Worn with dark blue skinny jeans.

Hair dye- Directions Violet (buy some here)
Shirt- Primark (similar here)
Belt- vintage (similar here)
Jeans- River Island (similar here)

On a completely separate note it's obviously pancake day today (or as it's properly known Shrove Tuesday). I REALLY love pancakes and although we have them more than just once a year, it's a great excuse to eat them! Usually I just have dinner as normal and pancakes for dessert, but we are doing it slightly different this year. Several times when we have visited Wells-Next-the-Sea we have been to eat on the Dutch pancake boat. So after falling in love with their bacon and baked beans topping we are going to try that tonight, followed with the usual sweet pancakes. My husband loves Nutella on his, although my favourite is the classic lemon and sugar.
Let me know if you have any interesting pancake toppings, I love trying new things :)

B. xoxo
